Dear, Mrs Kelly, Siobhan and family,
We are saddened to hear of Dr. Kelly's passing. I will always remember listening to NPR news in the Volvo when he would drive us to the Notre Dame bus at the church. I still listen to NPR every morning. He was a good man with a great sense of humor. Our condolences to your family

We were sorry to read of john's death. When we lived in Sayre, I always enjoyed discussing cases with John. He often was of great help with difficult cases. On a personal note, he was a superb conversationalist with great wit. He was always willing to give more than he received. We should all try to emulate his example. Bob and Gina Lenox

John A & Mary Ann were close friends with my parents & as a child we would visit them for Easter where they were very kind to me & show me wonderful time which I would always look forward to. They were one of my first adult friends. I went to boarding school in Williston Vermont & they would come visit me for an occasional weekend. As I got older we formed our own friendship. John was always great to talk to & could always make me laugh hard. As an adult I would sometimes call to say hi. Thanks for all the love, wonderful memories & laughs John A. I will truly miss you !!

Upon reading Dr. Kelly's obituary there's even more respect I really needed to give this gentleman. What a reflection of the life this man led, and I know why Dr. Kelly was one of the finest doctors I had a privilege to have known. Great work ethic and his kindness was superior. I was sorry to hear of his passing, and my thoughts and prayers will be with everyone in his family.

I worked with Dr. Kelly in Pathology many years ago. He was an amazing man and a prince to work with.
I have thought of he and Mary Ann so many times over the years. He was the first person to call me a 'Brick'which he ultimately informed me was a compliment in Ireland. he was one in a million and a true Treasure
I know he will be missed so very much. RIP my friend and if you just happen to meet my husband on a cloud say hello for me. he will be happy to make your acquaintance and I am sure you will like him as well.

We were neighbors of John and Mary Ann for 30 years. We loved talking with him on his dog walks and early neighborhood get togethers. Our children (JoAnn, Anthony and Ron) loved playing on Falkenberg’s hill with Siobhan and the Falkenberg kids. John was a wonderful neighbor. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mary Ann and Siobhan as they grieve for a great man. He will be missed.

It's hard to describe my feelings right now as I remember this good friend! My family and I spent so many wonderful hours at the Kelly home on Orange Hill, listening to John's often hilarious stories of his family in Ireland! He and wife Mary Ann were the first people to welcome us to Orange Hill where we lived for 10 years, enjoying parties and "hill" get togethers. It's so hard to believe that we won't hear that lovely Irish brogue and his wonderful wit anymore! We have such great memories of this good man and neighbor! We will never forget and will cherish them forever! Our condolences to Mary Ann and Siobhan, Ronan and John! We will be unable to attend the funeral as we will be out of town!
