Vivian Ruth Lantz, 59, of Ghent Hill, PA went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ surrounded by her family on April 11, 2019. Born on November 12, 1959 in Troy, PA, she was the daughter of Duane "Tom" and Marlene (West) Lantz. Vivian was a 1977 graduate of Athens Area High School. After graduation, she attended BOCES in Elmira and earned her LPN nursing degree. Vivian was employed for over 20 years at the Bradford County Manor in Burlington until ill health forced her to retire. She was active in her church where she taught Sunday School. She enjoyed arts and crafts, crossword puzzles, and was an avid reader. Vivian is survived by her siblings and their spouses, Thomas and Joyce Lantz of Gettysburg, PA, Vonita and Mark Chaisson of Clearwater, FL, Kenneth and Susanne Lantz of Barton, NY, Dennis and Christy Lantz of Warren Center, PA, and Wendy Lantz of Athens, PA, four nieces, five nephews, and two grandnieces to whom she gave much love. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 11am – 12pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 12pm with the Rev. David West officiating. Burial will follow at Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
