I’ll never forget when uncle Doug let us ride the go cart whenever we wanted! And would help us with pretty much anything we asked him when he lived at nana and papas! We will miss you uncle Doug and I hope you can look after everyone ❤️

Almost all of my memories of Uncle Doug were from my childhood at my grandparents with sisters and cousins. Taking us for rides in the mule, helping us catch bull frogs from the pond, helping us with the go cart and mini dirt bike. All such fun and joyful memories. As an adult I grew to understand and appreciate how funny and quick witted he was. I am thankful for him playing with us as kids and his patience that I am sure we tested. He will be missed and forever loved.

Doug, was an exceptional employee and a mechanic no matter what you asked of him it was always not a problem boss. If only all people could follow his leadership the world would be so much easier to succeed. Prayers to family his teammates all thought of him as family too he will be missed.

My favorite memory of my Uncle Doug is when I was younger. I remember him going out with us kids to catch fireflies after dark at Nana and Papa’s house and being genuinely just as excited about how many we got as we were. I remember being in such shock that an adult could be so excited about “kid stuff”. From then on, that’s how I always saw him, as a man who genuinely cared. I will miss his amazing sense of humor the most. I swear he could make anybody laugh!

Doug was a great guy. He helped me do some work on his aunts house out in Liberty. A couple times we drove out together joking and telling stories the whole way. He will be missed.

My Uncle Doug was the one who taught me how to tie my shoes and ride a bike without training wheels. I am forever grateful that I was a stubborn kid that didn't want to learn these things from my mom because now I have these memories that will forever make me smile, especially when I am trying to teach my own son these things. I remember my uncle taking me fishing for the first time and shooting BB guns in the backyard of my grandparents house. Im so thankful and happy that I was able to spend weekends and summers in Pennsylvania as a kid with my family and that I was able to make so many fun memories with my uncle.
