Colleen Jo (Guiles) Robertson July 2, 1954 - April 14, 2019
Colleen Robertson of Lowman, NY passed away at home with family on Sunday April 14, 2019 following an extended illness.
She was born at Tioga General Hospital, Waverly, NY on July 2, 1954 the daughter of John D. and Jacquelyn (Dewey) Guiles.
Colleen grew up in Chemung and attended Waverly High School. She was employed as a Waitress at several different locations. But she took waitressing a step further as she loved her jobs, she loved serving people, and thoroughly enjoyed that she was able to take care of them so that they could have an enjoyable meal.
She loved spending time with family, especially at the family picnics. Colleen was always the one in charge of the grilling. She had a generous heart, loved her family and extended families dearly and maintained her sense of humor till the end.
She was predeceased by her father, John D. Guiles and her nephew John Mick, Jr.
She is survived by her children Jennifer and Mike Lunsford of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jeffery and Jessica Guiles of Athens, PA and Halee and Rick Shaver of Waverly, NY, grandchildren Cierra, Quentin, Zachary, Damien, and Jonathan Lunsford, Jasmine, Jade and Jeffery Jr. Guiles, and Meghan Shaver. She is also survived by her mother Jacquelyn Dewey Guiles of Lowman, NY, sisters Susan (James Curran) Guiles of Lambertville, NJ, Laurie (Don) Marsh of Elmira, NY, Dixie (Mike) Kautz of Lowman, NY, and Stacy (Joe) Roman of Cincinnati, Ohio, brothers John Guiles Jr. of Lowman, NY and Robert (Jolie) Guiles of Lindley, NY, aunts Florence Guiles of Sayre PA and Joyce Feathers of Lowman, NY, as well as many nieces, nephews, special cousins and numerous friends throughout the valley.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 12pm-2pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral Services will follow at the funeral home at 2pm with the Rev. Linda Rogers officiating.
Burial will follow at Chemung Cemetery, Chemung, NY.
