My mom,LuCelia, (Lucy) Brown Trexler, loved Harold for his kindness, respect, and love for the LORD. I loved him at first because he made her happy. But, I learned to love this man for who he was. Harold told me about many of his military escapades, and how he grew raspberries as big as his thumb. He told me about his childhood, his job in a record factory, and how much he loved his Mom. He told me how he began his personal relationship with Jesus and the change it meant for his life. When I'd ask him how he was he always replied, "Terrible." If he said anything else I knew something was wrong. I loved this sometimes grumpy appearing man. I am saddened he was not proclaimed as a hero for his service in WW2. I am thankful for his love to my daughter LuCelia, and his love for all Mom's family. I will miss him. My joy is ,now he's with Jesus with no more pain and loneliness. He is probably singing, There's Power in the Blood. Iris May
