Obituary of Edna M. Schmidt

Edna M. Schmidt, 83, of Athens, PA, passed away at home with her beloved family by her side on Monday, October 7, 2019.

She was born on June 24, 1936 in Flushing, NY, the daughter of the late Francis S. and Jeanine (Roman) Rerek. Edna was employed as a Secretary at different businesses and worked along-side her husband in their vending machine business.

She is predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Charles George Schmidt.

Edna is survived by her daughter, Katherine Schmidt-Johnson of Athens, PA, son, Eric Schmidt of Honolulu, HI, and grandson, Mathew Johnson of Athens, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 1pm at Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA with the Rev. Linda Rogers officiating.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
