Obituary of Shara L. Buell

Shara L. Buell, 68, of Elmira, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY.

She was born on September 6, 1951 in Sayre, PA, the daughter Harry and Shirley Parfrey Ropp.

Shara graduated from Corning Community College Nursing Program and was a dedicated Registered Nurse, for over 25 years. Upon retiring, she enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and doing crafts.

She is predeceased by her father; Harry Ropp, brother; David Ropp and sister; Melissa Ropp.

Shara is survived by her husband of 48 years; James at home, sons; Christopher Buell of Wellsville, NY and Timothy Buell of Wellsville, NY, grandson; Mitchell Buell, and great-granddaughter; Miah Buell, mother; Shirley Ropp of Elmira, NY, brother; Michael Ropp of Boca Raton, FL, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
