Ken (and Jeanette) were 2 of the nicest, caring, loving, and most deserving people I have ever had the honor of meeting. Ken shared his stories of their travels with me, his stories of when he served in the military, and stories of remodeling his beloved house.
The love he had for Jeanette is something most people only dream of. I saw true love in his eyes every single day. Not knowing Jeanette before she was ill is what saddens me, but just having the time with Jeanette and Ken brightened my life and I will never forget them.

Ken Bracken was my Big Brother. He taught me to walk, with the help of the hassock in our parent's living room.He taught me the fist song I ever knew. I remember sitting with him on the steps of our Grandparents house, the house he was living in before his death, and singing. He was the the best Big Brother in the world. I'll miss you Ken.

One of the nicest men I had been acquainted with here in Sayre. I remember being of help to Ken as the Sayre Historical Society museum was being formed. He accomplished so much in the borough, and am sure he'll be remembered in the Greater Valley area for the work he put in to preserve what is through those museum doors. My prayers and thoughts are with the entire family during this difficult time.

Ken was one of the friendliest guy I’ve ever known. He was passionate about the Sayre Historical Society and the many projects he was involved for SHS. His wisdom and guidance will be missed by all that knew him. He truly was one of the great ones who left a lasting impression on all that knew him.
