I send my deepest sympathies and condolences to the Gay family. I first met John when the Gay family moved into a rented apartment above a garage on Harrison St. - shortly after they moved to what many knew as their residence on Wilbur Ave - where the boys grew up. Though I had lost contact with John over the years I would catch updates from Pipe Sr. or brother Jimmy Pipe Jr. ... RIP my old friend !

I could sit here and write a million things about how amazing of a man matt and I father was and put a million pictures up of his amazing smile personality laugh and just him in general but there isnt enough time or space on here. The memories we have with my dad are forever held on to tightly. God I miss you dad we all do I know your living it up with poppy and I'm so proud of you and so grateful for you giving me the best 24 years of my life I love every second about being able to call you my dad i miss you forever and always and love you more then words can explain. Fly high daddy we all love you so much.

I'm so saddened to hear this news my heart is broken. I seen him alot lately gave him rides and seen him at Tioga Downs. He was so so nice to me always. He talked about his family that he loved so much and loved his dad so much his heart was broken after he passed. He told me that I will never forget you cousin John. love to all his family.
