Brittany M. Cass, 25, of Athens, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre. She was born on February 22, 1994 in Elmira, NY, the daughter of Robert and Shawna (Sturgill) Cass. Brittany was a loving, happy, outgoing, giving, and forgiving person. One of her joys in life was talking to people and with her outgoing personality she met and made many friends. Brittany loved her family and spending time with them. She loved to sing. She was known as the "Selfie Queen". Brittany enjoyed road trips, going to the theater, and also enjoyed bowling. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Denver and Retha (Givens) Sturgill, uncle Leon Sturgill, and cousin and his wife Jerry and Janne-Marie Sturgill, and others. Brittany is survived by her mother and stepfather Shawna Cass and Daniel Strait, father Robert Cass, paternal grandparents Ray and Deloris Cass, fiancé Louis Dieuseul "Junior", future mother-in-law Ronette Hilaire. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be scheduled at a later date at the convenience of the family.
