Julie was a person of many talents which she shared with her students and peers when she taught. She loved teaching preschool and special needs students. I will miss teaching with Julie as we did the last 8 years. I am glad she was a fighter with this terrible cancer, but so glad she is not in pain now. Julie, you will be remembered.

Dear Johnson Family,
My deepest condolences on the passing of Julie. I still have many fond memories of fun times with Julie during band and chorus, and other classes throughout our Athens school years. Some twenty years later it was nice to reconnect with Julie via Facebook, and see her passion for teaching, family, and Harry Potter. She will be dearly missed. Sending my prayers to your entire family during this most difficult of times.

Don, Donna, Rob, Lori, Mark, and Ben, Abby, Katy, our hearts break for you. Julie was one of the sweetest, kindest, people I have ever known. She was dedicated to teaching her little children. Growing up as neighbors, I remember when Julie was born. There are so many memories from my son Chuck growing up and playing with Rob, Lori and Julie. Julie was so strong during this battle and she fought with dignity and always tried to be positive. We will miss her.
