Grandma will always hold a special place in my heart. She was such an awesome great grandma to my kids. They loved her to pieces. She had such a great heart and always thinking of others and always willing to help. She made the worlds best molasses cookies. I will always remember going to her house for family dinners and playing games and enjoying everyones company and all the laughs. She will always be loved and missed but her life memories will never be forgotten.

Jane and I both had a birthday on the same day. We also square danced together.What a fun time with she and George dancing with the Penny Promenaders. What a sweet smile and loving heart. Ed and Mary Anne Gallew

There were a few summers I stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Merrill. We would go to the square dances and boy did they love to dance.

"Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to a new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. Some stay awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same." My husband and I were lucky enough to call Jane our neighbor for the past 10 years. We learned what it meant to be a true neighbor, a practicing Christian, and a hard worker by watching Jane live her life. May her love and work ethic continue to inspire all that knew her.
