Although we weren't related by blood, she was a very special Aunt. She was a close friend of my mother since they were in school together. She was a lovely person inside and out. She'll always be a special angel.

Dear Family and Friends,
This is a poem my Mom and I wanted to share:
I want no weeping when I leave, nor grieving when I'm gone.
Only laughter should accompany me to my celestial home.
I do not fear the darkness and from tears I shall be free.
I know when I get over there my mother waits for me.
Her outstretched hand will guide me to the promised land above
where Jesus also waits for me with his undying love.
I know my loved ones gone before will anxiously await
to gather me into their arms at the Pearly Gate.
There'll be no sadness over there, no pain, no grief nor strife.
If we believe in Jesus we will have eternal life.
My Savior's arms will hold me, so why then should I fear
the darkness or the shadows when my Lord and Master's near!
We must believe! We must rejoice! The day of Rapture's joy
and we shall all be gathered up to meet Him in the sky!
We love and miss you, Mom!!! Soar with the Angels, my loving Angel Mom!

Loved her. She was the best great biological aunt there could had been. Always was checking up on me and how I was doing and always asked if I had ate anything good lately and stuff like that that made me know she cared. I'm so sorry I won't be able to make it to her memorial but that's the day I go into surgery. Fly high aunt Reva.

I grew up living next door to Reva, Leo, and John on Spring St in Sayre. I used to call her my second mom. She was just the kindest, most caring person you could know. I have many fond memories of her all through my childhood, including getting the snakes out of her flower beds (she hated snakes!). If I ever needed anything and Mom wasn't home, I went to Reva! She will be greatly missed. God bless her!

This is my grandma and I a few Thanksgivings ago. One of my favorite pictures of us. I miss our talks and I miss your laugh. Its always been my favorite. Thank you for our honest talks and being not just my Grammy but one of my dearest friends. I hope you were as happy to see me Saturday, as I was you. I was content just holding your hand and listening. Thank you for telling me how proud you are of me. I promise I'll do all the things we discussed. I found an old recipe card in your handwriting for everyones favorite christmas cookies. Im teaching Nova to make them just right. I love you forever gram.
