Olen D. Strong, 61, of Spencer, NY, passed away with his beloved family beside him on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. He was born on January 19, 1959 in Endicott, NY, the son of Olen R. and Mary F. (Blakemore) Strong. Olen loved to hunt and golf. He enjoyed bowling and belonged to many leagues. He is predeceased by his mother Mary Frances (Blakemore) Strong. Olen is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Debbie (Peppard) Strong at home, daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca A. and David M. Bump of Spencer, NY and Daniel Robert and Elizabeth Strong of Spencer, NY, grandchildren, Cayla N. Pierce, Cheyenne C. Bump, Rachael N. Bump, Autumn R. Bump, Abigail M. Johnson, Margaret M. Conover, and Blake Robert Strong. He is also survived by his father, Olen R. Strong, sister, Deborah Palmer of Elmira, NY, sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Kenneth Boyton of Elmira, NY and Doreen and Keith Carlyle of Spencer, NY, brother and sister-in-law, Douglas and Cindy Strong of Spencer, NY, brother Dennis Strong of Spencer, NY, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. At Olen's request, the family will hold a private service at a later time.
