Shirley L. Bentley, 93, of Athens, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility, Elmira, NY. She was born on July 7, 1926 in Sayre, PA, the daughter of the late King Edward and Beatrice (Sherman) Leonard. Shirley loved to travel and was an avid quilter. She is predeceased by her husband, David Bentley, brother, Phil Leonard and sister, Ruth Leonard. Shirley is survived by her children, Wayne Edward Inman, Jr. of Lowman, NY, Sara Inman Field of Elmira, NY, Larry (Rita) Inman Gillett, PA, and Garry (Regina) Inman of Sayre, PA, several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Lee Leonard of Wellsburg, NY, Ronnie Leonard of Gillett, PA, and Donald Leonard of Centerville, PA, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Arrangements are entrusted to Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
