Raymond L. Vanderpool, 67, of Sayre, PA passed away on Monday, February 6, 2012 at Robert Packer Hospital following an extended illness. He was born August 23, 1944 in Towanda, PA the son of the late Ernest and Mary Smith Vanderpool. Raymond loved hunting, fishing, and trapping. He is predeceased by his brother Richard Vanderpool. Raymond is survived by his wife of 39 years Terry at home, son Raymond E. Vanderpool of Sylvera, PA, stepson Michael J. and Randee Howe of Owego, NY, and numerous grandchildren, family and friends. At the request of the family there will be no calling hours or services. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
