Cosmina Caiazzo, 87, of Waverly, NY passed away on February 12, 2012 at ElderWood at Tioga. She was born March 31, 1924 in Buffalo, NY the daughter of the late George and Anna Contento Recchio. Cosmina graduated from Grover Cleveland High School in Buffalo and was a member of the Church of the Epiphany in Sayre, PA. She is predeceased by her husband Gerald T. Caiazzo. Cosmina is survived by her daughters Maria (David) McGrath of Las Vegas, NV, Pat (Ken) Titus of Greer, SC, Jacqueline (Dennis) Sheridan of Sayre, PA, and Geraldine Morrison (Jack Creinan) of Syracuse, NY, grandchildren Melissa (Mike) Brown, Ken (Terry) Titus, Dave (Nat) McGrath, Patricia (Robert) Abrahams, Michael (Natazsa) McGrath, Patrick (Rochelle) Sheridan, Cristin (Shane) Bull, Kevin Morrison, and Corey Morrison, great-grandchildren Kelly Brown, Courtney Brown, Megan McGrath, Amanda McGrath, Gabrielle Sheridan, Casey Sheridan, Jasmine McGrath, and Jacob McGrath, sister Maria Ferro of Placerville, CA, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 from 1pm – 4pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremations Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 9:30am at the Church of the Epiphany, 304 South Elmer Avenue, Sayre, PA with the Rev. Vincent Langan officiating. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
