Rena M. Post, 72, of Litchfield, PA passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at home. She was born on May 22, 1939 in Sayre, PA the daughter of the late Charles and Alta Brown Bradley. Rena enjoyed fishing, camping, canning, cooking, and doing flower arrangements to place in the cemetery. She worked at Fraley’s Amusement Park, Ames Department Store for 8 years, and did Home Health Care for a number of years. She is predeceased by her husband Carl Post, son Kevin Eugene Owens, and brother James Charles Bradley. Rena is survived by her children Jeff Post of Sayre, PA and Ricky and Teresa Owens of Litchfield, PA, grandchildren Stephanie Wells, Eric Owens, Ashley Post, and Kyleigh Post, great-granddaughter Alyssa Renee Wells, and her great-grandson she was looking forward to welcoming Ryder Cole Owens, brother Eugene Bradley, sister-in-law Linda Bradley, special cousin Dixie L. Womer, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends and family may call on Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 12pm to 2pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral Services will follow at 2pm at the Funeral Home with the Rev. James Donahoo from the Sayre Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in South Litchfield Cemetery.
