Donald H. Rimbey, 86, of Bentley Creek, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Robert Packer Hospital. He was born on June 22, 1925 in Sayre, PA the son of the late Byron and Loretta Culver Rimbey . Donald was employed with Sayre Lingerie as a Mechanic for 41 years, retiring in 1986. He was a Lifetime Member of the L.O.O.M. of Waverly, NY. Donald enjoyed camping at Bonnin Lake, and traveling. He is predeceased by his son Donald Rimbey and his brother Bruce Rimbey. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Helen at home, son and daughter-in-law Richard and Sandra Rimbey of Bentley Creek, PA, grandchildren Stacie (Jeff) Rogers of Chenango Bridge, NY, Chad Rimbey of Geneva, NY, Scott Rimbey and Todd Rimbey, and 7 great-grandchildren. At Donald’s request there will be no calling hours or services. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, Pa.
