Lois V. Wright, 81, of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at home following an extended illness. She was born on December 15, 1930 in Mt. Carmel the daughter of the late Howard and Alma Leona Davis DeFrahn. Lois was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was employed with the Guthrie Healthcare Systems as a Medical Secretary for many years during the 1960’s. She was predeceased by her brothers Howard DeFrahn and James DeFrahn. Lois is survived by her children James Druffner and Bill Stroud of Park City, UT, Susan and James Summers of Athens, PA, Kay and Jeff Small of Rochester, NY, and Tom and Chris Druffner of Rochester, NY, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be announced at a later date. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
