Obituary of Kerry Jackson
Kerry "KJ" Jackson, of Bentley Creek, PA, left this life on Thursday, July 5, 2012 and now rests in peace, illness-free.
He entered this world on May 17, 1949, born to Ralph and Doris Manzer Jackson.
Kerry graduated from SRU, Class of 1967 and immediately began a 43 year career at Dura-Bilt Products, retiring as Plant Superintendent. He had an outstanding drive and work ethic.
He is predeceased by his parents Ralph and Doris Jackson, and sisters Gloria Cornish and Judy Brague.
Kerry is survived by his wife of 43 years Sue, sons Jeff Jackson and Scott (Amy) Jackson, daughter Heidi (Matt) Wiles, beloved grandchildren Ashley, Matt, Rachel, and Brenna Jackson, and Keaton and Meghan Wiles, siblings Sam Jackson, Janice Brown, Kathy Finnerty, Jerry Jackson, and Carole Shipman.
His passions were his home and family, car shows with Jeff, hunting with Scott, and being Heidi’s Penn State Dad, also precious time spent with his grandchildren.
Friends and family may call on Sunday, July 8, 2012 from 1pm – 3:30pm at Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:30pm.
Memorial donations may be made in Kerry’s memory to the: American Cancer Society, 1948 East Third Street, Williamsport, PA 17701.
