Sandra Y. Pachokas, of Athens, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Robert Packer Hospital following an extended illness. She was born on February 19, 1950 in Sayre, PA the daughter of the late Robert and Joyce Cox Cole. Sandra enjoyed scrap booking, cake decorating, and reading. She is predeceased by her brother Randy Cole. Sandra is survived by her children Kenneth Dawson of Ulster, PA, and Michael and Connie Dawson of Bridgeport, IL, grandchildren Taylor Dawson, Tori Dawson, Dominique Ruiz, Tabatha Dawson, Wes Pepper, Tommy Forrest, and Kady Dawson, great-granddaughter Isabelle Dawson, siblings Gene Cole, Gary Cole, Debbie Cole, and Richard E. Cox, Jr., and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 5pm at the Nichols American Legion Post 1624, 1 Dean Street, Nichols, NY. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
