Eleanor M. Walker, 90, of Milan, PA, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at ElderWood following an extended illness. She was born on July 16, 2012 in Litchfield, PA the daughter of the late Floyd W. and Isabella Catlin Bennett. Eleanor was a caring and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was very active in the Milan Methodist Church. Eleanor enjoyed needlepoint and crafts, playing cards, and in her younger years was an avid bowler. She is predeceased by her husband of over 51 years, Donald H. Walker in Nov. of 1992. Eleanor is survived by her sons Robert S. (Mary) Walker of Waverly, NY, and Donald J. Walker of So. Waverly, PA, grandchildren Anne M. Teeter, Michael P. Walker, Jeffrey M. Walker, and Steven M. (Karen) Walker, great-grandchildren Michaela, Collin, Dylan, Devon, Nicholas, Sean, Jack, Cole, Lily, and Liam. Friends and family may call on Monday, July 30, 2012 from 6pm-8pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 from 10am-11am at the Milan United Methodist Church, Route 220, Milan, PA.
