Addison Dean Porter, 59, of Sayre, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Robert Packer Hospital. He was born on April 28, 1953 in Blossburg, PA the son of the late Addison C. and Etta May McNeal Porter. Addison loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and working on vehicles. He is predeceased by his brothers Willis "Butch" Porter and Michael Porter, sister Mable Roupp, and nephew Addison "Skeet" Porter. Addison is survived by his children Tracy Dean Porter of Canton, PA, Tim and Tennille Porter of Athens, PA, and Raymond Charles Porter of MN, grandchildren Robert Addison Charles Porter, Parker Talada, Jessica Marie Rebholtz, and Brendin Thomas Porter, siblings Addison Charles Porter, Randy Porter, Rose Marie Benedict, Ruthellen Machmer, Tom Porter, Gary Porter, and Pauline Jackson, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
