June D. Hall, 70, of Athens, PA passed away on Monday, September 3, 2012 at her daughter’s home with her family by her side. She was born on June 4, 1942 in Endicott, NY the daughter of the late Norman and Evelyn Daniels. June worked for 25 years at Futures as a Direct Care Worker. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, and sewing but June’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband Jack in 2001, daughter Cynthia in 1985, and brothers Diamond and Dale Daniels. June is survived by her children Clifton (Gloria) Hall of Seattle, WA, Herbert (Hazel) Hall of Athens, PA, Theresa (John) Johnston of Athens, PA, Barbara (William) Nusbaum of Athens, PA, and Jackie Spencer of South Waverly, PA, grandchildren Mariah, Stacy, Jim, Dan, Gwen, Geoff, Ed, Becky, Emily, Zack, and John, great-grandchildren Destiny, Teylor, Ethan and Liana, siblings Janice, Dare (Sally), Joan, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends and family may call on Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 5pm – 7pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral Services will follow at the Funeral Home at 7pm with the Rev. Mark Waters from Bethany Christian Fellowship officiating. Burial will be in Maine Cemetery, Endicott, NY.
