Greta E. Thomas Flanagan, 76 of Chemung, NY passed away on Friday, September 7, 2012 at home following an extended illness. She was born on October 14, 1935 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Jacob and Elsie May Thomas. Greta was a long time employee of the Guthrie Clinic. She is predeceased by her husband Edward J. Flanagan; son Michael; and sister Joyce Latini. She is survived by her children Margaret Gilley and son Edward Flanagan; grandson James Gilley and brother Roland Thomas. Graveside services will be held Monday, September 10, 2012 at 3:30pm at the Chemung Cemetery, Chemung, NY. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 1948 East Third Street, Williamsport, PA 17701.
