My heart goes out to Mrs. Towners friends and family. I had the pleasure of meeting her at the nursing home. One day when we were chatting we realized we both shared the same day of birth, May 6th. She invited me to a little birthday party with some her family. We had cake and exchanged cards. After the party she wrote me a note, which I will keep forever. In it she thanks me for the card and coming to the party, how much fun she had and what an amazing day is was for her. She also says "I wish everyday was our brithdays". Although I do not work at the nursing home anymore I think of Elizabeth often and how she touched my heart. She was a very sweet woman that had many interesting stories of her life. Many prayers and love for your family.
This news came as a shock if there was anyone who should of lived forever it was elizabeth. I visited her everyweek and helped her in any way she would let me. She was such a kind gentle spirit who spoke HIGHLY of all her family. She loved each and everyone of them and loved getting on the computer just to see their faces. She will forever be missed and thought of. prayers are sent to the family may your hearts heal and the memories last forever.

No words can describe the pain and sadness I feel hearing this awful news. Elizabeth Towner, you were a friend and practically a grandmother to me for many years. You gave me laughs and memories that I will cherish forever. You always made me feel welcome in your home and wouldn't hesitate to feed a hungry mouth! I wish you could have outlived us all. Your kindness and caring nature will never be forgotten. Thank you for being my "grandmother" and thank you for being you. To all her family and friends, I share in your sadness and hope your grief subsides. Elizabeth Towner you will be sorely missed but never forgotten. I love you.
I send my condolences Aunt Elizabeth's immediate family. I enjoyed visiting and touring with her every trip that we made to PA from AZ. I am so grateful that Darlene and I was able to spend some time with her this summer while we were in PA. I will miss her greatly and will especially miss her stories of our mutual history.
