Laura, Gary, and Mark, I am so sorry to read of the death of Gordon. I am glad you were with him at the end. That must have been such a comfort for him. Every day, I will pray for you and your family. Times like these sure bring back the memories. I can remember when Wesley Havens was the night-time custodian at the Athens Methodist Church. He was always so nice to us. Anyway, I just found the obituary in the newspaper this week. Gordon is in good company. He is in Heaven with my mom and dad. It was very touching to see the pictures of Gordon and your family, on the obituary page. I am so sorry for your loss. Hold on tight to your memories. Love is stronger than death.
