I know I am years late here, but Mrs. Soprano had a profound impact on my life and I wanted to share that. She had a phenomenal sense of how to interact with a little third grader and I always remembered her for that. She gave me a nickname that I still use to this day. She was unlike any other teacher I've had throughout the years. She treated me like the person she knew I could turn out to be rather than the child that I was and it has stuck with me for decades.
I am so sorry for her family's and the world's loss. She'll be fondly remembered for the remainder of my life.
Thanks, Mrs. Soprano.

Mrs. Soprano was a wonderful woman. I was fortunate enough to be in her English class. She was also the director of the drama club and made each person feel incredibly special and talented. The rehearsals, especially during performance week, were always a challenge, but she made it fun and the highlight of our day. After she stopped directing the drama club, the students remained, but something was certainly missing from our club. Be happy Mrs. Soprano.

Travis and Courtney: Jim and I are so very sorry for the early passing of your mom. I say "early" because I would have wished many, many more years for her with her children and precious grandchildren. I treasure the special holidays she spent with our family in Charlotte and know that she was so proud of you both! Continue to make her proud! And we will be around to help, if you ever need us. Much love, Jim & Kathy Fain (a/k/a as Travis's in-laws)

Mrs. Soprano was one of the best teachers i had. She knew and taught with my aunt as well as she had a great influence on me with how i would some day want to become. I admired everything she tried to do for us as students. May she rest in peace. I will always be guided through my life with the words she taught me and experienced. Love Cassi

I was so sorry to hear about Mrs. Soprano's passing. She was my 1st grade teacher at Main Elementary in 1974-75. I always thought of her as one of my favorites. She was kind, caring and made school a lot of fun for the shy, young girl I was then. Thank you Mrs. Soprano. Peace and love to you and your family. God Bless you...Kelly R. Robinson
