Jen, Jenna, Adam and David, Our sincere sympathies to all of you. Our heart aches for you and we know that Dave is in a better place. We will have fond memories to cherish - especially of Dave showing Ricky how to cut out his Derby cars - his truck and later his Pokemon car - all went on to be winners -- just like Dave. God Bless You Call. Love, Chip, Ricky and Smokey

I worked with Dave at duPont. He was very willing to do most anything for you and was always there to lend a hand. I was shocked to see he passed away at such an early age. He was admired by many. I'm sorry for your loss. Take Care, Wayne Bump (Sayre, PA)

Dear Chilson Family, I was deeply saddened when I was informed of David's passing. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers, and you have my deepest sympathy. I wanted to relate a story of how David and I became connected at work. It must have been 20+ years ago as we worked the night shift in the warehouse area. There was a long corridor leading to our #3 coater and it had a row of cinder blocks up each side of the hall way that made the opening narrower than it needed to be. David asked me as the crew leader to see if we could have these cinder blocks removed. We were told that they supported the wall and could not be removed. About two weeks later David was traveling down this corridor with a fork truck and ran into one of the cinder block columns and pretty much destroyed it. We learned two things that night, 1) That steel toe shoes really work, as he pinched his toe between the wall and the fork truck. and 2) That the wall really was not load bearing after all.. It was removed shortly afterwards.. Ever after, anytime we saw each other it was a private joke between the two of us.. I would jump behind a steel post any time I was traveling through the warehouse area, and I saw him coming on a fork truck. I'd ask if he'd knocked any walls down lately. We'd both laugh and he'd tell me it was safe to pass by. David was a good friend and I will miss him greatly. Sincerely Richard Oliver
