David L. Chilson, 55, of Ulster, PA passed away September 25, 2011 at home following an extended illness. He was born April 8, 1956 in Sayre, PA the son of Clifford Chilson and Emma Maines. David was an active member of the Mt. Pisgah Wesleyan Church and served as a Trustee. He was employed with DuPont, Towanda, PA for 28 years. David served in the U.S. Naval Subforce for 5 years. He resided with his wife on their family farm and was a previous member of the East Smithfield Fire Department. David enjoyed raising livestock, hunting, and fishing but most of all spending time with his family and friends. David is survived by his wife of 34 year Jennifer at home, children David D. and Dana Chilson of Shermans Dale, PA, Adam Chilson of Virginia Beach, VA, and Genna Chilson of Indiana, PA, parents Clifford and Kaye Chilson, and Emma Maines, siblings Danny (Mary) Chilson, Clifford (Gretchen) Chilson, Kathy Marcy, Julie (Gary) Shneckenbecher, Lisa Shrimp-Weiss (Frank Weiss), and Chris Shrimp, several nieces, nephews and cousins and father and mother-in-law Alston and Genevieve Teeter of Milan, PA. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm at the Mt. Pisgah Wesleyan Church, Berwick Turnpike, East Smithfield, PA. Funeral services will be held at the Church on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 11am with the Rev. Lynn Ensign officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, East Smithfield, PA.
