PART #1: PART #1: I was in the army with Jeff; 1st/15th 3rd Infantry Division. He had the nickname "Deek" that he got from telling a story of a guy back in East Smithfield that was called "Deek" (short for "Deacon") and, somehow, the name stuck to him. There were four of us that were close. "Deek", Ghelli (from Boston), Sweeney (from Rocky Ridge, Maryland) and me. Me and Jeff were always talking about fast cars and what kind of cars we would get when we got out of the army and came back to the States. We must have spent hundreds of hours debating "who would win in a drag race between..." this car and that car. I only got to talk to him a couple times after we got out of the army. He as in Homer and I was in Missouri. By the way; I was there watching him get that tattoo on his forearm. We had two "tattoo guys" in the barracks that gave tattoos. The guy that gave Jeff his "SHERRI" tattoo was Jose Guzman
