Steve, Connie, John and family I am so sorry for your loss-Uncle Gilbert was a great man whom I adored and always looked up to-he will be sadly missed by all who knew him-he is now at peace and free from any further suffering.
Most importantly he was granted his last wish to be with your Mom as they now have been united and will now have eternal life together again. We all have had great role models and have been taught well-hang in there as we are "Rogers Strong" you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
