I am so saddened to hear that my best friend, running mate, Navy shipmate, and Soul Brother has set sail for his final cruise home. Dear Joyce and family at 12 years old Dick and I became buddies and it lasted until his passing but I believe we'll get together one more time in Heaven. We were trouble together, and to Joyce I'm sorry for all the grief I caused but I'd do it all again just the way we did it. From Rex as a puppy through the good and the bad, I'd give my life for him. I believe we all get one best friend in our life time, mine went home and even though I hadn't seen him in years, I'm sad and miss him. There will only ever be one Dick Brennan, and now he has had his resurrection and home with daughter. I pray that the sorrow that replaces his presence will be short lived, but his memory will forever live in my heart. My condolences to the family, and Dick I wish you calm winds and following seas Dick .... Jack
