Dear Platt Family,
I am so sorry to have learned of Joe's passing. When we loose a loved one due to death it is never easy to deal with the void. That's because we were created not to have to deal with death of our loved ones. How wonderful our Creater, Jehovah God, has kept his original purpose for mankind to be able to live forever in the future through his Son, Jesus Christ, and to bring back from the grave our dead loved ones (John 5:28,29). Yes, death and all the sadness it has caused mankind will never be witnessed again (Revelation 21:3,4). At that time all our tears of sorrow will be turned into tears of joy. What a wonderful time that will be for you. For now, to help you deal with your loss, Jehovah God invites you to throw all your anxiety upon him because he cares for you (1Peter 5:7). I do hope these promises from God's word the Bible helps you to find some relief from your loss.
