Just found this, I am so very sorry for your loss. I have known Dorothy since I was 6 or 7 yrs old, I am now 36. She was the sweetest lady I know. Always look forward to riding to church with her every sunday, sitting next to her and using a highlighter to mark bible versus in her bible. Always had a pack of big red chewing gum in her purse for me. She was always there for me,with open arms and love when I needed someone. I think my most memorable thing of her is...one year she took me with her on a trip to lake Ontario I had a great time and will never forget her. I would sometimes go to her house after church on Sundays and then go back to church with her Sunday nights. She would curl my hair up like hers. I spent the night at her house one night. I really did enjoy my childhood with her by my side. I will miss her greatly and will see her again. Love you Dorothy.

Who was this Lady of the Lord working most of her life to win souls. First Dorothy J Pennay was a Christian! Mother! Grandmother! Great Grandmother! Friend to many! She showed honor to the Lord with her service in the Church at Zion by bringing many children to Sunday School and Church. She loved to study her Bible! She was a friend of ours. We are forever grateful that she was a soul winner and helped to lead my husband Edwin to the Lord nearly 40 years ago. Our prayers are for each family member that the Holy Spirit will comfort you! May each one Honor her life by doing the things that would please the Lord Jesus! Live for Jesus and prepare to meet the Lord because He is coming for a people or Church without spot or wrinkle. Dorothy had sweet and special time with her family before leaving for Heaven!

I can't wait to see you dancing in Heaven.

Dorothy was such a blessing to a lot of people. If there was anything she could do for someone she would do it. I'm sure there was a great celebration when she entered into eternity. Well done my faithful servant. She will be missed but we all have the memories.

If for a moment we could've heard the thunder of applause as men and Angels arose to welcome my mother into the presence of the LORD for eternity! His word declares "They that win souls are wise" and shall receive a "soul winners crown" or crowns. I can't wait to see her tip a truck load over at HIS feet! Rest in HIS peace Mom and enjoy the fruits of your labor.... Luv ya, C ya!!!!!
