Dorothy J. Pennay, 87, of East Athens, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on April 18, 1928 in Sayre, PA the daughter of the late Rodney and Helen L. Babcock Robbins. Dorothy was employed with Dr. Browns Eye Care Center for 20 plus years as the Office Manager, prior to retiring. She also worked at Ingersoll Rand, Athens in the business office for many years, Stovers Insurance, and the Evening Times. The job Dorothy enjoyed most was driving the church bus. Dorothy attended 2 different Bible Schools. Dorothy's favorite job was working for the Lord. Her entire life was about serving the Lord and winning souls for His kingdom. She is predeceased by husband Eugene Pennay, and great-grandson Chad Arnold. Dorothy is survived by her son Wayne Arnold of Fort Mill, SC, daughter and son-in-law Sue and Robert Clymer of Sayre, PA, grandchildren Dianna Arnold and Albert Burke of Waverly, NY, Neil and Brenda Arnold of Ft. Mill, SC, Andrea and John Shepherd of Columbia, TN, David and Christina Wilkerson of Athens, PA, Alicia and Jim Price of Owego, NY, and Hillary and Micah Smith of Philadelphia, PA, great-grandchildren Travis Peppard, Matthew Peppard, Ericka Culver, Kaitlyn Arnold, Tyler Wright, Brittney Wilkerson, Mackenzie Wilkerson, Andrew Shepherd, Landon Arnold, Addyson Shepherd, Berlyn Arnold, Ryan Rossi, Nicholas Rossi, Isaiah Rossi, and Ross Price, great-great-grandchildren Keilanna Peppard, Christopher Culver, Kailee Peppard, Bentley Wright, Levi Peppard, and Marlee Jane Wright. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 5pm-7pm at Zion Fellowship, 54 County Road 60, Waverly, NY. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7pm at the church with the Rev.
