I'm sad to hear of Ray's passing. I met Ray 24 years ago as we were new residents of Athens. Ray was recommended to me to do some electrical work in our home. Since it was a big job (putting in a new electrical service) I worked right alongside Ray. He made sure to teach me along the way too. I vividly remember every detail of a conversation we had about his military service and what led up to his capture by the Germans during World War II. What an honor it is to have known this very brave and wonderful man.

Ray Vanduzor you were a wondeful man. I really enjoyed speaking with you over the years when we were in Sayre visiting family and friends at the same time. I would alway's run into you at the Bed and Breakfast in downtown Sayre or the Hampton Inn. I looked for you this past July but did not see you this year. You would alway's say to me that if you did not see me next year back in Sayre, then you would see me in Heaven. Well my friend, I will see you in Heaven. Gob Bless you. Mike Peterpaul Melbourne, Florida, formally from Sayre.
