Mike, Mary Lou and Lori,
I just wanted to let you all know how very sorry I am for the terrible loss of Lisa.
Such a waste of a very accomplished young woman. The service was beautiful and it also made it very apparent what a special person she was.
I have been and will continue to pray for your family and hers. I know it's not suppose to be this way and losing a child is something you never get over.
Again please accept my deepest sympathy and if there is anything I can do for you please feel free to reach out.

Dearest friends and family of Lisa,
Words can not convey my sympathy for your tragic loss. Lisa brightened EVERY SINGLE moment that I had the honor of spending with her. As her track coach at Bucknell, I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time with Lisa doing something that she loved and excelled at doing. It was a true pleasure to watch her train and compete. But it was her unfailing positive attitude and incredible care for her teammates that I remember most of all. No matter what we were up against, Lisa met each challenge with an unwavering dedication to excellence and simply put, the best damn attitude possible. No matter what, she brought the smiles out of all of us!
All my love,
Coach Ben

Very saddened by the news of Lisa. Although it has been nearly 20 years since we last talked, I have clear and fond memories of her positive energy and care for others. For our Bucknell throwing team (in training, competition and social endeavors), Lisa was instrumental in making the experience fun and galvanizing a fairly odd group of folks. Best thoughts go to her family and I hope that my daughter can possess the same kind of approach to life and people that Lisa had.

My dear Steve, Lydia and Maggie. My heart hurts for you. Please know that we as a family have lost a dear friend, awesome lady, a super educator and devoted Mom. I cannot put in words how much we loved Lisa. She would light up a room wherever she went. Her infectious smile and laugh will never be forgotten. We ask " why" but there is no answer. I know she looks down on you all and will forever be your angel. If you need anything please call. Love you all!

For 4 years we trained at Bucknell. Everyday, you wore your bright smile, brought your dedication, focus, and drive. Simply stated, you were nothing but inspiring! You touched all of us on the track team, and were always our Mama Bear making sure your "boys," (us throwers), didn't get into "too" much trouble. Steve - - I am truly sorry for your loss my old friend...and wish your family much strength in this time. Lisa was truly a very special angel, and I will always cherish the memories we all shared together.

I had the pleasure of knowing Lisa when she taught and coached at Bath. she was a joy to know and was beloved by staff and students. We were sad when she left Bath for Campbell, but happy to know her skills would be utilized and another group of people would know her kind ways, her enthusiasm and her zest for life. Lisa's time on earth was too short, but her influence will live on for many decades to come. I am honored to have known her and seen her magic with students and colleagues. My deepest condolences to her family.

I only hope knowing how much people care, and love, and respect Lisa and your entire family helps ease the pain and brings you all peace in the celebration of her life.
Lisa will always hold a special place in our hearts, as will your entire family, and we are truly sorry for your loss.

My heart is full of sadness. I recall the times we shared during softball, basketball, and volleyball. To know her on the field and off the field, she was someone you wanted to be around. She was a stellar athlete and also a trusted friend. Her smile and laughter was contagious to all that had the opportunity to know and love her.
Many prayers to her entire family and to her husband Steve and their two daughters; Lydia and Maggie. I cannot know what you are going through; however, you will all be in my daily prayers and thoughts.
For those lives that she has touched and forever blessed, we can smile knowing that she left behind a legacy for which many can aspire to be.

To the Allen Family, There are no words that can be said to take away the pain you all feel. Saying that we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers and share your loss seems like so little at this time. We do have fond memories of times we spent with you and your whole family. Spending vacations together at Fourth Cliff, touring Washington DC and making her and Steve's wedding cake to name a few. We will always treasure these moments in our hearts. We hope that with time all your memories will replace your pain. Your friends, April and Bill
