Vic, Bob and the entire Weiss family,
Longevity must be very much part of the Weiss family. Having had the same spouse for 75 years is not only unusual, but something you should be proud to tell people. I'm certainly sorry for your loss and pray that your bereavement period will be lessened in length because you know that now Gertrude is in a better place. At least this is what my mother used to say.
It has been many years since I have seen any of the Weiss family, but all my memories of the Weiss family
are most positive. I remember that Gertrude was always with her husband and had the most beautiful smile, was friendly to all and enjoyed the humorous stories and antics of you, Mr. Weiss. I especially remember well when you built your beautiful home and you would put your watch up to your face to check on the time. These little things made you a likeable man.
The very best to you and your family during this period of grief.
