Dear Marge,
Many years have passed and I was very sorry to discover by accident Jack's demise. He was a good and honorable man, as was the whole Walter family, rightful heirs of Harry and Mary. I regret many things, including not having had at least a chance to know in time to come to the funeral. I am also sorry and surprised to learn of Ray's death.
I hope you can get back to me, either by email, or at:
401 8th Avenue, Apt 43, Brooklyn, NY 11215.
Inasmuch as I am a Christian, I pray that God always be with him, as he deserves peace in his final rest.
Love to you and your family,
Alexandre Barbier

Jack was one of the most amazing individuals I have had to the privilege to work with. During my tenure at Greater Valley EMS he was always there to support initiatives that benefited the citizens of the Valley area, and his support was unwavering. His kindness and compassion were truly inspirational. I was happy to sit and talk with him at the Ham and Turkey party last fall. Rest in Peace Jack, you certainly earned it. God Bless.

We all will miss Jack Walter. He was a fine man and friend. I still can remember buying Yellow Birch firewood from Jack. He told me pay him when I seen him. I did. Rest in Peace Jack. We all will miss you.

Very sad to hear of Jacks passing. I am so glad I was able to spend a bit of time with him the last time I was up. I will always have great memories where we, "The Wrecking Crew" as he aptly named us, spent a lot of time working on cars and having parties where the Blue Berry Field is. RIP Jack, and I will see you when I get up yonder... Oh and tell Jim hello!

We were both very blessed and honored to have met and known Jack. Unfortunately we didn't get to spend a lot of time with Jack but the times we did see him were always fun and interesting. He really was a great guy and we will miss him a lot.Not many are as willing to do for others without looking for thanks. We feel very deeply for you all at this time. Our prayers are with you.

Jack was always happy and smiling. Here he is with my mom, Flossie Lines, at the most recent Che-Hanna Rock & Mineral show.
Jack Walter was the first president of the Che-Hanna Rock & Mineral club -- and mom, Flossie Lines, was president when the shows began in the 10th year of the club. Great memories.
