Don held a special place in our heart! He would often stop at Wright's Sporting Goods and rarely ever came empty handed! He would show up with walnuts, a cane for Steve, and a leather pouch he cut and made for Steve's bore light ! Don and I connected on the "creative level". He was such a thoughtful man. Recently,
(Probably 5 weeks ago) he happened to be driving by our home as we were returning from a walk, so we invited him to pull in the driveway and visit a spell. It was obvious to us when he tried talking and getting out of his truck that he was struggling with being winded. When we asked him about it, he was so brave and did not want to elaborate (only to say the hospital wasn't sure what was happening to him). So many folks go on and on about their woes, but not Don! We enjoyed our visit with him as we always did. Such a kind, giving soul. He will be missed. God Bless You as you continue on without Him as he would want You to do. Sincerely, Steve and Gina Wright

"Uncle" Ted, as I had called him from the first time I met him many years ago was a dear, kind, gentle man with so many good traits. He became part of our family as soon as he entered it when my brother Ray started dating his niece Robin. I will always remember him as the sweet dear man that he was. He always treated my Dad and Mom with nothing but respect. He will be truly missed by myself and our family. Sympathy to all of his family. with love, Claudia
