Obituary of Patrick E. Likins
Patrick Eric Likins, 47, went to be with his higher power on November 13th, 2018 unexpectedly at home due to coronary artery disease.
His family lovingly nicknamed him "Bo". Patrick celebrated his belly button birthday on September 1st, 1971. He was the son of Bernie and Lisa Spencer of Ulster and Robert Likins, Sr. of Kansas.
Patrick graduated from Athens High School in 1990. He was employed in the maintenance department of Vulcraft in Chemung. Patrick was an active member of the Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous fellowships having celebrated his 12th sober birthday on October 17th, 2018. He was a member of the Navy Seabees where he learned about electricity. He worked for Mountain Lake for several years. He also loved to build and fix anything, hunting, running, riding horses, and was a Washington Redskins fan.
Patrick is survived by his daughter, Erica Likins, his mother and step-father, Lisa and Bernie Spencer, father, Robert Likins, Sr., brother and sister-in-law, Robert, Jr. and Candy Likins, step-son, Dylan Randall, step-daughter, Brittney Ferraro, and two step-grandsons Aiden and Wyatt. He leaves behind the love of his life, Shannon. In addition, Patrick is survived by his two ex-wives Lori Royce and Wendy Likins, along with nieces, Lydia (Sean) Mann, Colleen (Paul) Burdick, and Courtney Likins, nephew, Christopher Payne, numerous cousins, and AA and NA members.
Family and friends may call on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 12pm-2pm at Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home, 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. A Time to Celebrate Patrick's life and sobriety will follow at the funeral home at 2pm with the Rev. Linda Rogers officiating.
