Bill was a special person for my family. I can't tell how many times he helped us when we moved to East Smithfield. He often loan my husband food and money if he needed lunch. He was definitely a special friend to our whole family. But most of all he opened up my son's interest in the art field. Because of Bill my son's design was picked as the design for the Art fest gathering. Our world has lost a great artist and a very special friend that will be next to impossible to replace. Rest well our friend you will be remember always in our hearts. I wish I had known about his health, I would have found some way to let him know how very special he was. So sorry to Bill's family for your loss. Worked with Bill for many years at SRU. Us "Specials" teachers always had fun hanging out together. Bill's artistic talents were amazing, loved to go up to his room to see what he was working on next. He will be greatly missed.

I considered Bill a colleague as well as my friend. Bill had a gentle soul and was always willing to help me. Occasionally se would eat lunch together.
