Ron was a very kind and caring man who along with Carol made a major difference in many lives. They took in foster children and adopted a few giving them a great example to follow in life.

You helped me in a million ways I'll never be able to fully thank you for. You were more of a father to me than my own.
I am so sorry I couldn't find a moment to come see you. Lord knows I wanted to, and I'll carry that with me forever.
You and your beautiful family carried me and molded me into who I am today. For that I am eternally grateful.
I love you pops, and I can't wait to see you again someday.

Carol and Family.....So sorry for your loss. So many memories. I once got stuck up in the tree, when I was young, by our pool (my coat got caught and I just hung there) and Ron came up and put his hands on his hips and picked on me and then got me down. Or Carol and Ron sitting on the swing and waving at me as I backed out of Mom and Dad's driveway. Forever part of my Hornbrook family.

I am so sorry for your loss Carol and family. Keep the positive memories close. Ron was always gathered with the men during the family gatherings...talking hunting, football and just enjoying good food. Peace to you all. His struggles are over.
