Obituary of Ronald G. Saylor

Ronald G. Saylor, 73, of Sheshequin Twp., PA, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Bradford County Manor, Troy, PA.

He was born October 14, 1945 in Sayre, PA, the son of the late Gerald and Phyllis Tuthill Saylor.

Ronald was a 1963 graduate of Athens High School. He was a Veteran of the US Army, serving during the Vietnam War. Ronald was a Master Carpenter and was employed with C.C. Allis and Sons from 1971 until his retirement in 2011. He was a skilled cabinet maker and finish carpenter.

He loved spending time with his wife, kids, and grandkids. Ronald enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a member of the North Rome Wesleyan Church in Rome.

He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents Blaine and Maude Saylor, maternal grandparents Harold and Norma Tuthill, sister Sharon Saylor Cox, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law Francis and Doris Ryman.

Ronald is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years Carol Saylor at home, children Stephen and Karen Saylor of ME, John and Janice Saylor of VA, David and Heather Saylor of VA, Shakira Hastie of PA, Adam Saylor of NY, Victoria Mosier of PA, and Ruth Saylor of FL, grandchildren Elijah Saylor, Rosie Saylor, Haven, Ashlyn, Malachi, and Ezekiel Saylor, Cortney Place, Tyler Frisbie, MacKenzie and Tegan Hastie, and Ashley and KC Myers, great grandchildren Oliver and Avery Lantz and Harmony and Braxton Frisbie. He is also survived by his sisters Alma Saylor of SC and Diane Saylor of Canada and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration Gathering will be held on July 19, 2019 from 3pm- 8pm at the Larnard-Hornbrook County Park, 1241 Hornbrook Road, Towanda, PA.
