Diane We've never met; I am Jerry's cousin from Canton,Pa. Congratulations on your long marriage. I Was searching for other obituary information when up popped Jerry's! What a shock. I'm so sorry about his passing. I know you were very proud of him ....a purple heart!! Wish we had known. I just called my brother, Allen Kinch, in Rochester, N.Y. about all this. He too is shocked. We all grew up together and had a lot of fun. Jerry lived about a mile from Allen and me, and walked me home from school activities many a dark night! Allen keeps in touch with his classmates, and relatives whereabouts. We knew where Jerry was teaching. He graduated with my late husband, Ted..... they were pretty good friends. Difficult to realize most of Jerry's childhood family is also gone. {I live in Tennessee.} My thoughts are with you and your family. Take care. Joan
