Rev. Dr. Samuel George - Philadelphia Pentecostal Church of Pakistan posted a condolence
Friday, June 29, 2012
We have just found out that our beloved Dr. Bailey has gone to be with the Lord! Being a human it comes as a shock, but as believers we have the peace that he is in the presence of the Lord Almighty. Dr. Bailey was a steadfast supporter and advocate of spreading the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ throughout the world. He had visited Pakistan and held seminars and crusades in this country. Nobody will be able to fill the void that has been created by his loss. But we have a hope that one day those who sleep in the Lord will arise again, and together we will meet our Lord Jesus Christ. All the Philadelphia Pentecostal Church Pastors and Evangelists, and all the Bible College Teachers, give our condolences to all the Zion Family in Waverly and throughout the world. We will always miss Dr. Bailey and his wonderful memories will continue to live in our hearts and lives.

I thought it would be an encouragement to share the vision the Lord gave me. After the news of Pastor Bailey's passing, each time I thought of Pastor Bailey the Lord would give me a vision. In the spirit I could see a great crowd of applauding hands and I could hear the great applause. This vision wasn't given to me once or twice, but each time I thought of him up to the time of the memorial. I couldn't be sad for him, but only rejoice, as all I kept seeing was the great applause and the words "job well done".

My name is Antonio Reyes and even if I'm not known to any of you, I cannot let this opportunity to offer my condolences to the family of Dr Brian Bailey. Thanking the lord for as children of God we know that we do not die but sleep in the presence of the Lord, waiting for his voice when he will resurrect us from the dust of earth to take us to his kingdom. And thanking the Lord for such a precious man of God who taught me his word and has left a mark in my life, for God used him to show me the way where to press to get to the higher calling in God. I was one of thousands who were touched by his ministry back in El Salvador and even now when I read what the Lord trusted him for his church, I'm still blessed.I cannot but stand and give hands to the God almighty and honor Dr Bailey for he finished his journey waiting for the grace of God to see him in heaven and live together as children of the Father. God bless you all with all the blessings in Christ Jesus. Amen

I never got to personally know Pastor Bailey as many of you have. Shook his hand a few times, received a smile and how are you in the halls of Zion but nothing more. With all that said he still had a great influence on my life. Pastor Bailey's books were devoured as soon as I would get one, Pastor Bailey's messages were the first I wanted to hear from the conventions. The day of Pastor Bailey's passing I was reading his book "Teachers of Righteousness" an a passage stood out to me and I said yes that is Pastor Bailey. Here is what it said "Yes, teachers do have formidable influence when they boldly proclaim the Gospel of God as it is in Christ. Their pupils remember their words long after they have gone to their eternal reward. Their words live on in their hearers' lives and sometimes produce fruit for many generations to come. If we are faithful to study, pray, and live our teachings, God will ensure that, like Jesus, we shall see our seed and be satifsfied (Isa. 53:10-11)". So that is what I believe will happen in the coming years his words will continue to bear fruit. Debbie Clark

We count it a great privilege to have been in New Zealand when Brother & Sister Bailey were used by God to bring powerful and life-changing teaching to the Body of Christ. That was in the early 1970s and we were young Bible School students, but so impacted were we that truly the vision of Zion was birthed in our hearts before we even recognised it for what it was, and to this day that vision has not left us. We have indeed lost a loving father in the faith, but he has entrusted us - all of us - with the vision entrusted to him by our Lord, and so we now continue to build into this generation that which we have received.
